Live Messenger ver 8.1 - video call issue

Good day. I have a system that recently upgraded to Live Messenger 8.1 ( OS
is Windows XP Pro). When the user intiates a video call, the recepient can
see and hear her, but she can only hear the audio. With the previous version
(7) she had no problems what so ever. Reinstalling the application did not
solve the issue. She is using a Logitech 5000. I have the same setup on my
system except I'm using a Creative Webcam and have no issues. Any feedback
would be welcome.
