Ripping a two CD set

In Media 11, when I try to rip my 2 cd set, the first disk rips. When I
install the second disk, the unit will not rip. The box with selecting the
choices of do you want to open in explorer, play CD, etc comes up and
sometime hangs.

I was wondering if there is some trick to ripping a 2 CD set, especially
when I had the feature turned on that goes and gets the artwork and song list.

Thanks

Re: Ripping a two CD set

If you rip two unrelated CDs, does the second CD you put in show as the
first CD still?

RE: Ripping a two CD set

Your two cds are labeled the SAME. There no distinction between disc 1 and
disc 2. You can verify this be inserting this two discs into Windows
Explorer, left clicking on the icon, then selecting properties. The label
will display, showing the exact information that disc has on it. Due the
same with the second CD. Since these are read-only discs, you'll need rename
the first album (CD) in WMP library to same like "Music, Disc 1". Then rip
the twice CD and rename it to "music, Disc 2". Now you should have no
problem reading that multiple CD set.

RE: Ripping a two CD set

Have looked into your "My Music" folder. Underneath this folder it a list of
all your artists. I keep mine artists by category "classical" and under
classical is list of the artists I've added to WMP. One of artist is
"unknown" underneath that artist is a list of all the music albums you added
to that particuliar artists under that particular category. That's where you
will find your "first album" you installed under Unknown. If the name of
your second disc is identical as the name of your first disc, it will NOT add.
Use Window Explorer to find out the label on the CD. If they match do what
I said above message. I have mutli-2 disc sets adds to WMP. If this doesn't
help I'm sorry.
