Serious trouble :(

Ok first things first i've ran loads of different virus softwares through my
laptop and it has found nothing. A week or so ago I decided to move my files
around so there more ordered, like a file for each letter of the alphabet to
find music easier. Since then no songs work on media player. I've downloaded
the update but it just says for every single song windows media player has
encountered a problem and cannot play this song. I downloaded real player and
it plays most songs but also finds a problem with some. I don't understand
whats happened. Also my windows movie maker doesnt seem to work anymore. Have
I caught a bug?

Re: Serious trouble :(

Have you tried uninstalling WMP and then reinstalling it?

If you open media player, then [ress the F3 key on your keyboard to
find media content, it should remove 'moved' items and re-add them
from the new locations.

You may have to add the top level folder containing your content to
the "Monitor folders" list (click the Advanced button if that's not
visible)
