Latest added songs (material)

Hi,

my mediaplayer is in norwegian so I don't know exactly what this menu entry
is called in english, but when I am in the library section I can choose from
different search options if I want to sort my media files on album, artist or
latest added material. When I click on the option for latest added I get the
whole media catalogue or nothing. How can I set this up to search for the
material I have added the last two weeks (or something like that)?

The point is that I want to see the most fresh entries in my catalogue.

You should be able to make an Auto Playlist. In the Library panel at
the top left is an option to create autoplaylist, which brings up a
sort of Wizard tool. An auto playlist is rather like a saved Search.

There are options to show tracks which are less than a certain time
since they were added. You can then save the playlist to repeat the
search with the same settings.
