In your "bootup" thread people mentioned "hardware", but to don't
believe it.

Great. Now all you have to do is reinstall is Literacy and Communication 1.0
and Civility 1.0 in your own mental OS and you'll be good to go.

He probably used a registry cleaner on his mental OS and it screwed up
the entries to those files.

This fukking $hit should be far ahead of where it is. It's a pathetic
operating system.

It's time to hit Microsoft with a big law suite. Everytime I install
Windows it wipes my boot loader. Every time I install a dual boot,
Windows 7 doesn't want to live beside it and starts screwing up. It
wants to be the only OS on the PC. Maybe a large law suite will fix that.

Doesn't allways been like that?

I see the dificulty of bying a new pc without having to pay for a windows
licence that we are not going to use, a bigger offence.

good luck with your law suite.

It would be interesting to see how a judge would react to his language.
I suspect that he would issue one warning, then hit him with contempt of
court on the inevitable second time.

<lol> Was it NT 4 when it started?

Give the machine to Windows and then Linux as a secondary install (not
a Linux user at all).

The Final Verdict

Windows 7 and Ubuntu9.10 cannot co-exist on the same machine harddrive
(separate partition) on MY Compaq Presario CQ50.
Install Windows 7 and it runs fine. Install Ubuntu and Windows 7 won't
boot. Fix Windows and Ubuntu won't boot. Back and forth I went with
these silly operating systems.
Now I have only WIndows 7 on the entire machine and run Ubuntu as a
virtual machine with VMware player. The only way I can do it on my
hardware. The other way around would require licensing headaches since
all I have is a $50.00 upgrade copy of Windoze.
