| Image windows 7 200 MB hidden partition I have been using Acronis true Image for my backups. When I installed windows 2 OEM 32 bit on a new hard disk it created a hidden 200 MB hidden partition. I found this site very useful in understanding the purpose of this partition http://www.mydigitallife.info/2009/0...-installation/ Am I correct in presuming that I only need to create an image of this partition only once as it will be static on my computer unless I add more operating systems to the computer? Thanks ES |

The "System > Reserved" partition is hidden in WE...... I can see it with Acronis Disk Director. If you create NTFS partition or use an old NTFS partition from XP and install windows 7 in it then this hidden partition is not created and Boot folder and other booting files will be in C as it is with Vista I see virtue in the partition but preferred having one only one partition The advantages of this separate partition probably exceed the disasvantages so I am going to keep it.
