| Can't install Windows 7 to IDE HDD Running Windows XP and purchased a downloadable version of Windows 7 Home Premium Update from digital river. *When I try to perform a custom install, it says it can't install on my hard drive with the error: "Windows cannot be installed to this disk. *Windows needs the driver for this device [Primary IDE Channel]. *Click 'Load Driver' and load the required device driver." I have an asus P4PE motherboard. *The asus site doesn't appear to have any vista/windows 7 drivers for it. *How can i fix this so i can install windows 7? More...      |
