| Missing codec in Windows Media player I have a Mustek video camera which I had taken lots of videos with which played back without a problem in Windows XP. Trying to load them in Vista brings up a message saying that a codec Intel IMA ADPCM (11) is missing. Any idea where I get this from and how I load it into the system? (On the Xp machine I didn't have to load anything, the videos just played) Thanks Michael |

It is part of an Intel package and can be downloaded free or charge. I was missing the same codec on my GOM player (which is superior to WMP and is free) so I clicked on "find codec" and I was directed to the proper webpage. I hope this helps. I will give you some sound advice concerning codecs. Stay away from "codec packs" per se and stay away from "Vista codec packs". They come packed with unnecessary add-ons and cause nothing but conflicts with your system. Try to find the one codec you need and download only that one codec. Have a nice day. |
