Wirelesss Network Adapter

I am using a U.S.Robotics Wireless Adaptor to connect to my internet access
point. The model of the Desktop PCI card is 805416.

Ever since I have installed Windows Vista, it is not functioning. The
U.S.Robotics site does not provide any driver for it and I keep receiving
the message from Windows Vista that the driver cannot be installed and to
contact the supplier of the device.

Technicians at Best Buy told me that most Wireless adaptors are not working
with Vista and that I should only wait for U.S. Robotics to issue the
driver.

Is anybody else having a similar problem with this and and if so, is there a
fix that I am not aware of .

Help please.

Serge

Re: Wirelesss Network Adapter

You options are to either wait for U.S.Robotics to release a Vista driver or
to replace that card with one that has a Vista driver. There's no 'fix' for
the lack of a suitable driver.
