| Where is my hard disk drive space?!?! I just bought a new HPPavillion Vista Media Center computer which should have 2048 mb ddr2 ram and a 400 gb hard drive. When I look in the system properties it shows 1918 mb ram and when I open the computer file it shows 1.87 gb memory. Shouldn't these be the same? And the other issue I have is it shows HP(C:) with 22.3 gb free of 50 gb and Recovery (D:) 927 mb free of 6.25 gb. Where is the remaining 343.75 gb??? I called the HP help desk and he told me do a system restore and this would fix it, which it didn't. He said the computer is using the space for memory and to run programs. This is my first new computer so will you please help.      |
