| Mobile Intel 4 express chipset family Hi, I am Czech so sorry for my English.I have Mobile Intel 4 express chipset family graphic card. One guy told me it is good card, but when I play for example GTA 4, I cant even change any graphic settings.and I have only about 240 Mb of memory.I heard somewhere that I can add any ATI graphic card to this chipset. please, can you help me?And I dont want to sell my laptop because my parents gave me about USD 230 and they could be really angry, because I said it is good laptop. So, if there is any solution, for example that I can add ATI...I would be very happy. -- Dejwe ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Dejwe's Profile: http://forums.techarena.in/members/141404.htm View this thread: http://forums.techarena.in/vista-hardware-devices/1255108.htm http://forums.techarena.in |

If it was a desktop, you probably could install a high performance graphics card. Laptops aren't really good for gaming, unless you bought a real expensive one with Nvidia or ATI 3D accelerator chip. Even then video cards for desktops are faster. If you bought it for serious gaming you should've gotten a desktop, at least it would've allowed you to add or switch video cards. Intel Mobile 4 Express isn't for serious gaming. It doesn't even come with it's own memory and has to steal memory from the CPU to run. If you want gaming, you might want to buy a Sony Playstation, Xbox or even a Wii. |
