volume applet gone missing from systray

The speaker volume applet has gone missing from my systray. How to get it
back ?

SAFE Solution that Worked for me:

-Basically it instructs you to bring up Task Manager, terminate
explorer.exe, and then from the Task Manager File menu, choose New Task
(Run...) and specify explorer.exe again. When it restarts mutipe missing
icons wil be restored to the System Tray. No need to run foreign scripts and
no need to reboot your PC!
