You actually EXPECT us to go to the Logitech site to see if you posted
anything there????

Sorry... this is an all-volunteer group. You are expected to do some
of the work.

Many of us who support supporting several these MS sponsored peer to peer
newsgroups for many years may delete a thread if it does not appear that we
can provide meaningful assistance and therefore we do not have all the
previous posts in a thread in order to save disk space.
Or we may subscribe to a new newsgroup and delete all of the history so that
we start from scratch in that newsgroup and in this case also we would have
no thread history.
I suggest that you accept the advice we are trying to give you instead of
blaming us for not being able to help you since we don't have all the
previous posts.

On that note, is there anyone that wishes to contribute any MEANINGFULL
content to this thread in regard to a possible solution to getting a
Logitech MX 310 to FULLY work under the vista OS, ( I myself am running
Windows 7 and have the same issue). And am unable to have any other
buttons work other than left/right click and scroll wheel. Wheras it has
a left and right side button, mouse wheel button and another button
under the mouse wheel that are no longer usable with windows 7.

Which kinda sucks when you play first person shooter games that have a
left and right LEAN feature that your used to mapping to those left and
right mouse buttons.

Anyway, any ideas people? dare I say....MEANINFULL ideas...LOL :p

If you had half a brain to work with, you'd have deduced by now that
your mouse is not compatible with either Vista or Windows 7 as control
software hasn't been written for either of those to OSs by Logitech.

Are there Vista compatible drivers for your device? If not it will function
only as a basic mouse. Check the Logitech web site for the drivers and/or
software you need.
