| No burner is currently available or you don't have rights to access the burner. I can't seem to burn anything with my laptop. I have installed Cyberlink Power2Go and every time I open the program, it says "no burner is currently available or you don't have rights to access the burner". I have read a similar thread saying that in order to solve this problem, I'd have to delete the upper and lower filters. The problem is I don't have those in my regedit so that does not seem to be the problem. I really don't know what to do now anymore. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the program but still to no avail. I've tried Nero also but still I can't burn with it. Please help me. What else can I do now? I really need this problem fixed asap. Thank you in advance. -- Elenore ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Elenore's Profile: http://forums.techarena.in/members/84306.htm View this thread: http://forums.techarena.in/vista-hardware-devices/1145646.htm http://forums.techarena.in |

| Re: No burner is currently available or you don't have rights to access the burner. i've already uninstalled all the other burning softwares.. the only software i have now is cyberlink's power2go.. if i insert a blank CD, it won't detect it.. it would say 'please enter a disc into drive E'. My OS is microsoft windows vista home premium service pack 1. as i've said, every time i open the power2go software, it would say that No burner is currently available or you don't have rights to access the burner and i can't burn anything after that. that's just about it. what more info can i give you? thanks.. -- Elenore ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Elenore's Profile: http://forums.techarena.in/members/84306.htm View this thread: http://forums.techarena.in/vista-hardware-devices/1145646.htm http://forums.techarena.in |

It might be that the burning one has gone, which is why it can still play disks but not burn them. I've heard of this happening before... -- Asking a question?
