| Re: higher screen resolution... What is the native resolution of the monitor? Does the Monitor's manual state that it will take 1920x1080 over HDMI? If yes does it take either 1920x1080p/60 or 1920x1080i/60 and if using HDMI which resolution are you trying to send? If the monitor has a standard VGA PC monitor interface I suggest that you use it with the native resolution of the monitor. | Re: higher screen resolution... You've ran into the EDID restrictions. Many tv manufacturers are providing limited resolutions. Some people are pulling VGA pin 12 that reads the EDID info allowing a software resolution setup. Please search Google for EDID info because I have not yet tried it. -- r2rnot Posted via http://www.vistaheads.com |
