| DVD drivers I installed HP DVD movie writer, but the program can't find the DVD writer when I try to use the program. I suspect the problem is as follows: There are 5 drives on the computer - C,D,E,G,H. C&D are the hard drive; E is the CD/DVD drive built into the computer; G is labeled "rremovable disk"; H is the movie wrtiter drive. The problem seems to be that the software for this program is installed in drives E, G, & H. Ideally I would like to delete drive G but in any case I want to take the driver off drives E & G. How do I do this? |

How do I do this? I agree that you need to simplify. I doubt that the software is on E:, if you mean installed there, since E: is the dvd drive. The software needs to be installed in the System partition, which I assume is C:. It is hard to follow what you want to do from the description. In any case I doubt that the problem is caused by the drives. |

I want to get the driver off E & G, or at least disable it. |
