cd tray error

My cd used to work no problem . but as of yesterday , when i put a cd in and
shut the tray , it spins up and is briefly read and then ejects all in about
20 seconds . The tray is open all the time now as it ejects contantly
weither a cd is in or not , con anyone help ?

Buy a new CD player.
