Zune Code 10 Device cannot start

I have successfully used my zune for several months now.
Recently I tried to sync it and the driver install failed.
Device manager says "Code 10 device cannot start"
The zune works fine on another computer running xp
Zune support said it is a vista problem
Vista support couldn't figure it out and said it was a zune problem and I
should talk to zune people

The support people and I tried reinstalling the zune software like 20 times
total, tried uninstalling and reinstalling the usb root hubs. Help please!

I am having the very same problem. It works fine on my laptop running XP but
the driver fails to install with an error code that says "Device cannot
start" when I plug it into Vista. I just left it plugged into my Vista
machine for a while before so that I could charge it that way and one day
after a while it just installed and all was well. Then I got one of the new
Zunes and it unintalled the drivers and started all over again. This is very
frustrating.
