memory stick

i put some vidio clips on a flash dreive from my xp and can not use it on
my new vista, do i need to download codecs or something to see my clip's all
i get is visualations even on a cd from the xp unit,,

What kind of file is this? .mov, .avi , ...what?
What application are you trying to run this with. WMP?
Do other files of this type run ok with you selected application?
If you move the file off your flash drive onto some other Hard Drive space,
does it run?

it is not known at this time using the flah stick on vista is blank .unknow
how to use vista to open it up now

bob ,, it seems to work on a xp unit only the clips are on a memory stick
and a dvd, ( i think avi)

no yo can not i have used the memory stick here ,, as in if i use the
memory stick to put on it it will open it on the same computor but not xp
to vista

Try installing VLC Media Player on your Vista computer and try opening them
with that.
