I don't know what "window min" means, but: 1. Check if the drive shows in the BIOS. Accessing the BIOS http://michaelstevenstech.com/bios_manufacturer.htm http://www.uktsupport.co.uk/reference/biosp.htm http://www.computerhope.com/issues/ch000235.htm 2. If it doesn't show, check your jumpering (assuming an IDE drive). Find jumpering details for the drive on the drive mftr.'s tech support website. Also check your cabling. 3. How did you format the drive? Does it show up in Disk Management (Administrative Tools in Control Panel)? Malke -- Elephant Boy Computers www.elephantboycomputers.com "Don't Panic!" D: format If the drive works in another computer, then you know the drive is still good. Therefore the problem must lie in the way you've installed it in the upgraded computer. As I said, check jumpering - on *both* drives since some drives require a different jumpering for Master-with-slave than they do for just Master/Single. Also you might try a different IDE cable, making sure it is 80-pin and not the old 40-pin. Other than that, you might consider having someone knowledgeable take a look since it will be rather difficult to diagnose what you are doing wrong without actually seeing the computer.
