| Using 2 display adapters but vista disabled one I am using two display adaptors on my pc (Windows Vista) 1) Intel(R)82915G/GV/910GL Express chipset family and 2) Nvidia geforce 7300 GT. But windows has disabled "intel(R) 82915/G/GV/910GL" adapter and it is giving an Error "code 43", I have searched support.microsoft.com and found the KB310123 wherre i found the description of Code 43 and one troubleshooting also. which is Description: One of the drivers controlling the device notified the operating system that the device failed in some manner. For more information about how to diagnose the problem, see the hardware documentation. Troubleshooting: On the General Properties tab of the device, click Troubleshoot to start the Troubleshooting Wizard. But of no help, cant i use 2 graphics adapter on vista, or is it a problem with the graphic card or with the OS? Please help me Thanks in Advanced, Khan |

| Re: Using 2 display adapters but vista disabled one Does the use of a graphics adaptor in a PCI express slot disable an onboard video adaptor? I know that use of an AGP video card did. Specifically, read the "Multimonitor Support in WDDM" section, | If there are two graphics adapters with WDDM drivers from two | different manufacturers, then Windows will disable one of them. | The VGA adapter will be enabled, and the second device will be disabled. There is a workaround, which *might* work, depending on your configuration, but it's not pretty :) |
