| video driver update Hi all, I want to update my PC drivers, but I have one concern. I heard that when you update your video driver or some like that it will disactivate vista. Will this hapen with me too? Info: - Vista Business OEM ( not preinstalled, received it from Moduslink) - Intel GMA 950 - Realtek HD Audio I think that's all the information needed Thanks in advance! |

| Re: video driver update Hi, Some driver updates have been shown to cause Vista to ask for reactivation. The majority I've seen have been related to the drive controllers and motherboard. I don't recall a single instance or a video driver causing this issue. If it should happen, you'll just have to go through the phone activation method. It's inconvenient, but you will be able to reactivate. -- Best of Luck, Rick Rogers, aka "Nutcase" - Microsoft MVP http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/ Windows help - www.rickrogers.org My thoughts http://rick-mvp.blogspot.com "Chabulo" <Chabulo@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:FF4D30FE-B056-4A08-BE5D-9677F5E3F1E4@microsoft.com... > Hi all, > I want to update my PC drivers, but I have one concern. > I heard that when you update your video driver or some like that it will > disactivate vista.
