video driver update

Hi all,
I want to update my PC drivers, but I have one concern.
I heard that when you update your video driver or some like that it will
disactivate vista. Will this hapen with me too?

Info:
- Vista Business OEM ( not preinstalled, received it from Moduslink)
- Intel GMA 950
- Realtek HD Audio
I think that's all the information needed
Thanks in advance!

Re: video driver update

Hi,

Some driver updates have been shown to cause Vista to ask for reactivation.
The majority I've seen have been related to the drive controllers and
motherboard. I don't recall a single instance or a video driver causing
this issue. If it should happen, you'll just have to go through the phone
activation method. It's inconvenient, but you will be able to reactivate.

Re: video driver update

I've updated my display adapter and sound devices many times, with no
problems. Updating did not deactivate my computer. Your display adapter
driver is here, I believe (click on Graphics Driver for the appropriate
chipset):

Sound driver:

You see. The thing is I live on a small island in the Caribean (Curacao, bet
you guys never heard of it!) so I don't think that the phone thing will be an

Thanks for the replies though
