| DX10.1 and current graphics cards Unsure where to post this one.... We have all read the current rumours floating around the web. Does anybody actually or can confirm or deny that the latest graphics cards (8800 GTX etc) are compatible with the upcoming DX10.1 release? I have two on order and while I still have the option would like to cancel if this is true. |

| Re: DX10.1 and current graphics cards There is actually very little difference between 10 and 10.1. Currently no hardware supports 10.1, but you are not missing out on anything. Stick with your order. By the time 10.1 hardware comes out, 10.5 will be on the horizon; by the time 10.5 hardware is out, 11.0 will be on the horizon - you'll be waiting forever for advancements to stop, which of course they never will. |
