Re: New LightScribe Software (3 August 2007)

Probably, as most new drives are dual layer and LightScribe capable now.

Right now, I would be happy if the price of dual layer media would fall.

Re: New LightScribe Software (3 August 2007)

Thanks for the link.

Still too pricey compared to single layer. But I remember that when I got my
first DVD burner, the disks were over $US 7.00 each.

Next purchase is a Blu-Ray burner when the their price and the price of the
media comes down.

If my installation did not have any problems, should I still run the
Diagnostics - or just remember that it's there if I should have problem
later on?

Re: New LightScribe Software (3 August 2007)

I'm not having any problems, but I ran it just for the hell of it, and to see
what it would do and if there were any changes from the earlier versions, and to
see if it would report any problems that I was unaware of -- it didn't.

Can't hurt to run it just to check it out.
