| Re: Unsigned Kernel Mode print drivers. Thanks for the feedback.. Unfortunately, no luck. Its these "Kernel Mode" print drivers that are causing the problem.. This is from a network print server... | Re: Unsigned Kernel Mode print drivers. jereviscious, If you don't get your answer, try google. It must be out there somewhere. I don't know for sure, but Vista may lock you out of Kernel Mode for good. Just a thought. -- freddy "jereviscious" wrote: [color=blue] > Thanks for the feedback.. > > Unfortunately, no luck. | Re: Unsigned Kernel Mode print drivers. One of the biggest security changes implemented in Vista was that no kernal mode drivers could be installed like they could in previous versions of Windows such as Windows XP. If you are possibly trying to install some XP drivers in XP compatibility mode then I am not surprised that they would not be allowed. | Re: Unsigned Kernel Mode print drivers. The interesting thing is that I was able to install a kernel mode print driver via a local installation, Its just that I'm not able to do the same thing under a network installation..
