Re: Mouse Problem

Hello,
Are all of the accounts admin accounts? I suppose there might be a rule set
so as to only allow admin accounts to keep their settings and certain types
of accounts to discard them. Try to find out if your computer has such a
rule.

Hope this helps,
Rishi

Re: Mouse Problem

Do all accounts have administrator rights? If not temporarily change them
one at a time and try setting the mouse parameters and then remove the
administrator rights afterwards after rebooting/restarting while the account
is in use.

Re: Mouse Problem

In general changes are not saved till you do a normal shutdown or restart of
your computer. So if in the other administrator account after changing the
mouse setting you do a shutdown or restart while still in that account is
the change still not saved?

That is exactly what's happening, when I restart if I log into any of the
other account but mine all of the mouse settings are lost, and I have to
redo them all over again

I have the exact same issue. Tried with couple different wireless and
wired mice on the same computer, checked drivers, software. group
policy , anything you can think of and still no luck. As soon as I log
off my mouse settings are reset!!!! Please if anybody knows what
causes that it will be very very helpful. I am running Vista Business
and my current Wireless Desktop Set is Microsoft Natural Desktop 7000.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Best Regards,

Minko Kissiov

Re: Mouse Problem

How about if instead of logging off you just go to shutdown?
