Vista Disk Management: How to make it like in Win2003/XP

I use to like the way LDM works in Win2003/XP for external drives. In Vista -
its automatically assign drive letter and mount it.

Question: How to prevent Vista from auto-mount external disks as letter
(F,H,J,....) and make it work like in XP. So I want to have option to mount
this disk to my folders.

P.S. Problem is - i have several hard drives and tons on disk volumes :) I
cannot mount to letters - just run out of letters in ABC....

Regards,
Alex
