the dependency service or group failed to start

yesterday i was making some changes in de services , because i was testing a
program that needed access to my vista home premium laptop.
now the dhcp client won't start enaymore and i get the message stated under
the subject of this question.
i have tried several changes to the services but it wont work.
can somebody help me?

fammool,

If you don't receive a definitive answer here, try using google to search on
the error message. I did this and got hits. There seem to be multiple
causes for this error message, thus requiring you to peruse the results to
see which ones apply to your situation.
