I have problem to open the phone and modem option at control panel. I got
this a pop-up message:

"Phone and modem control panel cannot be opened. You may a have problem
starting telephony service"

Please help and thanks in advance.

The Telephony Service can be viewed by right clicking Computer and selecting
Manage. In the window that opens, click on Services and scroll down to
Telephony. Highlight Telephony to determine whether it's started. If it's
not started, start it. You can right click the item and select Properties to
view more details. If the Telephony service not being started is not the
problem, then I leave the solution up to others to solve.
