Mouse key has 2 functions

Hello.

I use a Logitech G7 mouse, I installed the appropriate vista drivers and
assigned my buttons to keystrokes.

The button on the left side of the mouse is the button I prefer to set my
middle button to. As you know, in Internet Explorer the middle button pressed
on a link opens a new tab and anywhere else you get auto-scroll.

But the default function for the G7 'button-on-the-left' is going 1 page
back. So every time I press my middle button it does what I want + goes 1
page back. Which is pretty annoying.

I've looked everywhere in Setpoint and windows control panels and such.

Help please.

RE: Mouse key has 2 functions

shotomorgh,

This may not be a Vista issue. Vendors, like Logitech and others, are
having problems getting their drivers and other software to be fully Vista
compatible. Your Logitech software may have bugs, but I have no way to be
certain about that. Try contacting Logitech about your problem to see
whether they have a solution of perhaps updated drivers.
