| RE: Can't explore or open a CD or DVD disk. Vista trys to Format Disks Dogsbody, In Control Panel, locate the section where you set your preferences for the way your CD/DVD-ROM works. There are plenty options there for choosing the behavior you prefer. -- freddy "Dogsbody" wrote: > If I click on either of my two DVD-R drives to open or explore the contents > of the disks. | RE: Can't explore or open a CD or DVD disk. Vista trys to Format D Thanks Freddy, but managed to solve myself I think Changed the Global settings for both drive. Deselected the UDF finalising of the disk. Can browse both drives with cd & dvd's in. Looks like a common fault with Vista home premium on the X86 processor. | Re: Can't explore or open a CD or DVD disk. Vista trys to Format D Right click on the CD\DVD drive in Computer and select Properties. On the Recording tab of the Properties sheet, press the Global Settings button and approve the UAC prompt. Uncheck the box to automatically close UDF sessions. I Bleed Blue and Gold GO BEARS!
