Mobile Device Center - Tmobile Dash (HTC)

Very frustrated trying to get WMDC to work with my Tmobile Dash and Vista
Business.

With Advanced USB select on Dash, Device Manager shows Microsoft WPD
FileSystem Volume Driver showing up under Portable Devices with an error
message 10. (have seen some forum references to this problem, is supposed to
be corrected by a windows update. I have installed all windows vista
updates.

With Advanced USB setting off the phone appears under [Mobile Device
(Smartphone USB Sync) I try updating the driver as suggested by
{http://www.pocketfactory.com/2007/01/06/vista-sync-center-woes/ user
Spectre101} to C:\Windows only get the same result.

If anyone has had this experience, and found a solution - please advise. I
have spent several hours already installing, uninstalling WMDC, rebooting
trying solutions and nothing works

Also for those who have WMDC working please let me know exactly what drive
inf is installed. Thanks.

I have the same problem and have tried many alternatives. The fact that
I can sync my dash on an old computer with the active sync 4.5 only
frustrates me further. Vista won't allow you to download active sync
4.5.

The tmobile tech support (3 of them) have given up and blame it on
firewalls, since the vista connects with the Dash, but just won't synch.

I'm not tech savvy so its a bit hard to even explain all the options I
have tried at the suggestion of others.

Terry
