Wireless Laser Mouse 5000 scrolling in Vista and VPC 2007

Hi

The wheel scrolling of my laser mouse 5000 is not as smooth as previous mice
(lasert 6000, Intellimouse), and it does not work in Virtual PC 2007. Any
tips?

The system is Vista Ultimate 64-bit, Wireless Laser Mouse 5000 and Wireless
Keyboard 5000, MS Intellipoint 64-bit 6.1.

Thanks

Edric

Did you install an appropriate mouse driver in your Virtual PC 2007
environment that would support the wheel?

Bye.

Re: Wireless Laser Mouse 5000 scrolling in Vista and VPC 2007

Hello

Yes, but I had to "force" it, because VPC does not accept the normal
Intellipoint packages, stopping the installation with a message saying that
it is not proper for the system. I had to unpack in the Vista host, then
moving the folder to VPC. Updated the native mouse driver, no use...

The wired, previous installation worked OK (MS Media Pro kbd, MS wired laser
mouse 6000).

Perhaps some Virtual Addition update could address that...

Interesting that it seems very few people is using the new MS kbds with VPC,
since I don't see any issues regarding that hdw and VPC2007.

Thanks for the answer

Edric
