Hi all,

Everytime when the pc boot up, it will prompts for driver update. But it
says "Windows found driver software for your device but encountered an error
wile attempting to install it -- Access is denied."

Anyone have any clue? Thanks.

Have you looked under Device manager to see what is NOT working??

You have a device that has no Vista driver available. Do you miss anything?
If not, just say don't check again when the message appears. I have one
device that is not working. Danged if I can find out what it is. But it is
not causing any problems so I did as above.

Hi Pete,

Under device manager, everything seems fine but the message prompted for
driver installation appeared everytime I boot up the system.

Hi Richard,

I'd downloaded the Vista driver from HP but it appears to be not working.
Maybe I should check don't show again, I just wondering why the system keep
prompting the driver installation window.

It will keep prompting to search until it either finds a driver or YOU tell
it not to search any more.
