| Vista has started dropping my d: drive after indeterminate time Running Vista Ultimate for 3 months. In the last week, it's started dropping my d: drive after it's been up and running for a while. To get it back, I have to restart the computer. The d: drive is 4 drives (raid 5) on a silicon image 3114 on board controller. The only installations I recall over the past few days are the recent security updates. Any ideas on what to look for? |

Does the controller show up in Device Manager as working properly when this happens? The d: drive is 4 drives (raid 5) on a silicon[color=blue] > image 3114 on board controller.
