Hello,
I've just changed my PC after my old one had a HDD melt down.
On my old PC I had been playing Halo 2 with out any problems.
But I cannot install halo on my new computer. Every time I try
I get a message that pops saying I have proplem with
"redist\vcredist.msi:' can anyone help me?

A .MSI file is bascially a Microsoft Installer file, browse the Halo 2 DVD
in the Redist folder, see if you can find the vcredist.msi file, right click
on it and run as admin.

Try installing again.

I have successfully installed Halo and Halo 2 onto my Vista Ultim ate
SP2 64bit.

Make sure that you have all the Important updates installed.

You may need to uninstall the Halo 2, if it is listed

You might need to get the Windows Installer Cleaner so as to delist
the Halo 2 / C ++ entries.
