1 gig video ram, talk about overkill, unless you mean you got 2 512meg video
cards in SLi configuration, but even so throwing more ram into your system
doesn't make the game run better or fix crash bugs (unless the ram is bad).

If windows says the application is crashing, who are we to argue?

All the Might and Magic (old RPG) games work pretty well, a couple of small
gotchas but thats it. My hat is off to MS for this one, I had more problems
getting them to work under XP than I have Vista.

Having a problem when starting Dungeon Seige 2 LOA, says it is not compatible
with vista and cant get Dungeon Seige II to work either same message. Whats

NOTE ON FS 2004

I have noticed that flight simulator 2004 will play but on some systems it
may be unrealistic, being it will run slower than if you installed it on
Windows XP. I vave a copy and run it on Windows XP on full graphics but with
vista I have to run it on minimal with compatilbility settings.

Well I must be doing something wrong with my new Vista Home Premium desktop,
because I cannot get Command & Conquer: Generals and Zero Hour nor Splinter
Cell : Double Agent to work.

I have set the compatibility to XP and let them run as Admin but in all
cases the screen just returns to the desktop view after I click play.

This is on a machine with a Windows base score of 5.7

Any help on getting these to work would be appreciated.

I can play C&C Generals On my system, but I can't play FS 2004. My system is
a NEC L1040 with 1GB+ Ram and a onboard AGP Graphics Card with a base memory
of 256MB.

I have been Reading so many diff. ways to try to get my DF2 game to work and
without end have not been able to do it.

I have done everything i can to it i can get my DF Favorites to work but
the DF2.EXE wont work i have run it from XP to 98 to Admin.

Turned all fire walls off it still wont work Single missions no problem i
can run DFX,BHD, COD,COD2,COD United Offensive,Halo 2 on line.

I cant run Wolfenstein: Enemy territory,COD4 which is Brand new and of
Course DF2. There has to be a better way.

I know about 10 People that run this game on their Vista and have no
Problems at all I have the Vista Home Premium 1.86 2030MB with a Nvidia
GeForce 7300 GT.

I know this is an OLD game and should probably move on but this is still a
cool game and there are still alot of us out there that play it or want too.

Is Microsoft working on this at all or are they going to let it Slide.
