My computer's shut down!!!!

Hi everybody, im new here and in need of some help.I have an old laptop with windows vista on it and it was secondhand, not new.It was working fine,but last week the internet went because the software isnt working rightso i got a new one. Today my husband took off some of the software he didnt want anymore. I changed the desktop and now i cant open the computer at all.Everything freezes on the screen. The problem was as follows:

Does anybody know how to fix this???? Is it time to take it tp the shop, or can i fix this myself?I have no internert on the broken computer. Please. I am totally at a loss. If someone could help me i would so grateful. Even though the laptop is old compared to the new one, its still good for typing and drawing and storing photos. My husband will go mad if it cant be fixed.
