Exclamation Vista troubles. I'm desperate, desperate, desperate!

Quote:
Summary:

[1] - "Host Process for Windows Services has stopped working" x 6
[2] - "BlueScreen" alert
A slight crisis here. I do hope someone will offer me a solution - I'd be over the moon - as I've already spent all day (8 hours solid) desperately stumbling through countless forums and technical sites in the desperate effort to find something that'll help me.

The problem started when I downloaded a programme which offered to retrieve forgotten passwords from my computer. I then began to get a "Host Process for Windows Services Has Stopped Working" information box whenever I started up my computer; now I'm inundated with six boxes.
To make matters worse, I now have the pleasure of the blue screen when restarting and then a little box which says "Windows has Recovered from an Unexpected Shutdown" once my computer has started up.

Do help me, please, before I lose my rag!

I'm guessing there's no way around this, then. How can I reinstall everything without a installation disc?

Press f8 on startup it should give you a list of recovery options. One of them should be Full system recovery or Restore C drive to factory condition
