At first, I thought it was the game I was playing (Lord of the Rings Online). I would be running, then my avatar would stop, and I wouldn't be able to move. But then, I noticed I was the only person this was happening to. Figured it wasn't a big dead, so I unplugged modem and router (directly connected to router, also), and left them unplugged for about 10 minutes. I came back, hooked everything back up, and I noticed it was still happening (about every 3 minutes). So I thought maybe the LOtRO servers were messed up, so I played WoW for alittle bit, until I lost connection to server 6 times in 10 minutes. I have no firewall on (that I know of), and shut down all processes running in background (AIM, Xfire.. everything that would use internet or memory). I had XP for awhile, and this has only been happening to me recently with Vista (dad has XP on his laptop, which is connected to router, no issues). Does this happen to anyone else? Any help would be greatly appreciated, as this is highly annoying. Thank you!
