Cool ATAPI DVD W DH16W1P ATA Device driver

After I downloaded an update for Quicktime, (I think it was that one) The CD DVD burner stopped responding.

The NTI software shows "no device" and Device Manager Properties shows "This device cannot start. (Code 10)"

When I search for a fix the system tells me it has a driver already.

Anybody know what Code 10 is and how to remedy this?

thanks,

Arn
