Folks,
I've been around handhelds for a while now (10years); having had a Palm, then a Vadem Clio C1000, then a Clio C1200, and now (for the past 4 years) an iPaq 3850. I've been holding out for a new form factor that did more and showed more (loved the Clio's large screen and 10hr battery life, but always wanted more from WinCE). I always thought that a Clio with a full OS would have been ideal and really enjoyed the ability to use Calligrapher for note taking (handwriting recognition) - was prebundled with the Clio. Many other people/sites would talk about "Ink" but I never made the conversion since I accomplished everything I needed to with Calligrapher. I also enjoyed the Clio for the keyboard for those long sessions editing text or crunching spreadsheets.
Has anyone installed Calligrapher (correction PenOffice for Tablet PCs) on a UMPC? If so, have there been any problems? What are the advantages of Ink over Calligrapher (PenOffice) or vice-versa (assuming there are any)? Please provide specifics...
Thanks!
