In the intro section, waptap asked for a section dedicated to UMPC marketing ideas. Let's start with this thread.
OrigamiProject.com certainly kicked the community marketing efforts. People continue to contribute wonderful ideas through blogs and the numerous community sites. Most importantly, YES companies do seem to be listening, interacting, and responding.
Overall, UMPCs have been advancing fairly well. Sales are apparently on track. A few hiccups, but that's expected with any new product. The key is to stay focused on the positives about what can be done -- what individuals and companies can do to help spread the word.
I'm going to repeat myself -- I'd love to see community created commercials for the web. How would you describe UMPCs to your online friends?
