I was interrested in the UMPC right form the moment the first promo adds where leaked on the internet. First as a gadget but now also as an affordable alternative to a tablet (which cost €1700 here at their absolute cheapest). I'm a student at university and would like a way to take notes duuring classes. I have found that doing things electronically is a way for me to more often actually do things. I found that out when I got a PDA two years ago and I started to keep an agenda which I had never done before despite having had one for the twelve years previously. I hope to be able to test a UMPC out in the comming days and if I like it I will buy one. If not I will be forced to go the old route and buy a laptop.
