So this afternoon I noticed that something didn't look right on the screen when I opened my task bar (which I keep hidden at the top of the screen and have it appear by pointing to the upper edge of the screen; also, I set the task bar to display three rows of applications, which presents columns of system tray icons, with five icons in each column. Today, there were only three icons in each column). I couldn't figure it out until I realized that the system tray icons were HUUUUGE and FUZZY. Not only that, but the Bluetooth has been acting sporadic with my XV6700 and my ThinkOutside Sierra keyboard all day. Even after rebooting, they weren't playing nicely together!
After my last encounter (
with the jagged handwriting), I have been making restore points at the end of every day just in case. Glad I did one last night before going to bed because I was able to use that one to restore my system. Now all's well: the system tray icons are normal sized, the keyboard connects and stays connected fine, and the XV6700 has me connected to the Internet just fine.
Weird. Am I the only one having these problems? Or is anyone else experiencing little glitches like this?
