Screen Calibration

I have recently taken delivery of an ASUS R2H and have difficulty with the screen calibration. Across the top of the screen, it appears to be OK, but the further you go down the screen, the worse it gets. It is impossible to work with a spreadsheet. I could not find anything in the manuals or in the help - has anyone else experienced this? How do you fix it? Has anyone used macros in Excel, running from a button or a toolbar?
