| Samsung Q1P-SSD UMPC The latest UMPC from Samsung includes a 32 GB solid-state hard drive (SSD), model Q1P-SSD.  Replacing the traditional 1.8-inch hard drive with a 32 GB SSD increases performance, durability, and battery life. According to Samsung, the Q1P has faster data access and boot time. The increased durability because the UMPC can tolerate twice the impact. Finally, the SSD drive requires less power to operate and therefore the battery life of the UMPC system is increased.
