I bought Fujitsu P1610(3G) tablet function laptop and came w/ Vista Home.
When i customise Vista to maximise the performance, it almost look the same like XP but vista user function which is not much point to use memory consuming vista os. So i decided to downgrade to XP by clean install.
Wanted to install XP Pro Table Edition but could not get hold of it. So I have tried installing regular XP Pro and tablet pointer driver from Fujitsu could not be installed.
Before arguing with Fujitsu, wanted to ask would tablet laptop's pointer work with XP Pro (not tablet edition) work?

Ok there is two things you can do if you want to use windows xp pro regular or media center edition on your tablet.

Here is what you need

1. windows xp installed

2. the windows xp driver for the pen must be in a executable format.

3. winrar (availible from our good freinds at cnet Free Software Downloads and Software Reviews - Download.com)


install winrar.

after install has completed.

right click the installer package for the pin driver and select extract files.

now once this is done just go in manually and install the driver.
