Undocking the Input Panel permanently

Hello,

i am using the XP Tablet PC Edition 2005 on a normal Desktop PC with the WACOM Cintiq 21UX Touchscreen for the Pen Input. What i'm trying to do, is programming an application that supports some Users in doing their every day work. For this i want to use the Tablet PC Input Panel, but i want it to be permanently on the Desktop and it should not be docked to the top or the bottom of the Desktop.

I found this nice MSDN page: http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/de...carettrack.asp but it doesnt help in the way i need it.

Maybe theres somebody who knows a way (by manipulating the Registry?), how the Input Panel can permanently be undocked, like it is on the Welcome/Login screen and even on the Logoff screen when starting/closing Windows XP Tablet PC Edition.

Tablet PC Input Panel XP sp2

We use the tc4200 hp tablet in our clinic. Our onscreen input panel (keyboard) was working great service pack 1. We can undock from the top and bottom, drag larger or smaller. We upgraded to service pack 2 and now it's fixated docked on top or bottom.

I would like to go back to Microsoft PC Input Panel 1.0 while running service pack 2. Can anyone help?????
