I recently got a tablet PC for my undergrad program (for no reason in particular, it was one of the packages that the school offered, so it seemed like a good bet) and so far I'm really digging it.

I have one, major, super excruciatingly annoying problem, however, and that is that I seem to be largely unable to close windows from the taskbar (i.e. by right clicking the minimized thumbnail on the tray and hitting "Close"). I can pull it off maybe one in twenty tries (WTF?!), and while I am patient, that is a trifle too many attempts for my liking.

The model I have is the Toshiba M400 Portege. I have no idea what the specs are like, given that I'm chiefly a desktop user, since I play videogames on my computer, and do little else.

I've calibrated the screen quite recently (though I'll certainly do so again, now that I've thought of it), but I don't have this problem ANYWHERE else, except right clicking items on the tray at the bottom of the screen.


Can anyone suggest anything beyond calibrating?
